How to get your own free energy-savings kit from CLEAResult?
We have a limited supply of these energy-saving kits for our KMC clients. To receive one, reach out to your KMC counsellor or ensure to register with our services.
KMC has partnered with CLEAResult, a company working with the Government of Canada and other non-profit organizations to offer FREE energy-saving kits and other several free programs that help low-income newcomers, families, and seniors reduce energy costs.
Programs offered include the following:

Energy Affordability Program by Save on Energy
The Energy Affordability Program offers free energy-saving upgrades tailored to the specific needs of the homes of low-income individuals and families. Depending on eligibility and existing equipment in their homes, participants may receive new appliances such as refrigerators, air conditioners, freezers, dehumidifiers, and more.

Enbridge Home Winterproofing Program
The Home Winterproofing Program by Enbridge offers free upgrades, including wall, attic, and basement insulation, draft proofing, and smart thermostats that automatically adjusts keeping homes comfortable while saving energy, to help low-income individuals and families improve their home’s energy efficiency.

Free Energy-Saving Kits from CLEAResult
CLEAResult is giving free energy-saving kits complete with easy-to-install products to eligible households.
Each kit includes the following:-
LED light bulbs

Weather stripping
-
Handheld showerhead
-
Retractable clothesline
-
Faucet aerators
-
LED night light
-
You may also receive a block heater timer if you use a block heater for your vehicle.

These programs and kits are available to all individuals who meet the low-income criteria, regardless of the immigration status, whether newcomers or long-term immigrants.
Who's eligible to receive a free energy-savings kit?

Must own, rent, or lease a residence in Ontario

Must be listed as the primary or secondary utility account holder

Have an annual household income for the previous year that does not exceed the following limits:
