Our small but passionate team of employees are the core of our organization, directly supporting newcomers to Canada every single day. We are particularly looking for volunteers with a background in social work or who have interest in gaining social work experience. However, we welcome volunteers with any skill set or background to contribute to our mission. We are always happy and grateful to hear from prospective volunteers!
If you wish to volunteer in a client-facing or social work role, you will be required to complete a Police Record Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check. These checks can be completed online.

We’re proud to support the next generation of social workers, counsellors, and community leaders by offering meaningful placement opportunities. As a placement student at Kababayan Multicultural Centre, you’ll gain hands‑on experience working with newcomers and their families, and build practical skills in a supportive, collaborative environment.
