About the Event
Feeling anxious about when your next job opportunity will come around? In this free online workshop with Skilled Trades Ontario, our "Employment and Career Readiness" information session will help you feel confident for when you take that next big step in your career.
This session will help participants prepare for those opportunities they weren't expecting — and for the ones they were. From learning how to upskill or reskill themselves, to learning how to write about their experiences in an effective way for resumes, the goal of this presentation is to have participants leave feeling like strong applicants and empowered by the skills they have learned.
About the Partner
Skilled Trades Ontario is an agency of the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development responsible for apprenticeship and skilled trades certification in Ontario. It was established through the Building Opportunities in the Skilled Trades Act, 2021.
They are committed to making it easier for skilled trades professionals to access services, promoting careers in the skilled trades and addressing the labour shortage.

With over 15 years of experience, she is passionate about helping students, newcomers, and job seekers build confidence, develop career pathways, and successfully navigate the Canadian labour market.
