About the Event
Kababayan Youth invites young people to join this informative and practical session focused on harm reduction and community safety. Participants will learn how to recognize the warning signs of an overdose and what steps to take during an emergency.
Understanding these skills can help youth make informed decisions and support the safety and well-being of their friends, families, and communities.
What You Will Learn
✔️ Recognize the signs and symptoms of an overdose
✔️ Understand the risks of unregulated substances
✔️ Respond safely during an opioid overdose emergency
✔️ Learn how naloxone works and when it should be used
At the end of the session, participants will receive a certificate of participation.
